TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. The terms and conditions of business are deemed to be accepted by the client by completion of the registration form and subsequent employment of an au pair by the client.
  2. The agency cannot proceed with arranging a placement until the completed application and registration forms have been received.
  3. As an au pair agency, we introduce clients to au pairs. The au pairs are not employed by the agency and are under the supervision and control of the client at all times.
  4. Every effort will be made by the agency to introduce only suitable applicants for the vacancy. It is the responsibility of the client to satisfy him/herself of the suitability of the applicant for the position.
  5. The agency does not accept liability, under any circumstances, for the loss, damage or expense incurred by the client prior to, during or subsequent to the engagement of an au pair.
  6. The client agrees to:
    1. Inform the agency immediately the engagement of an applicant has agreed with details of commencement of employment and length of employment (if appropriate).
    2. Pay the agency fee immediately on receipt of the agencies invoice.
  7. Fees not paid within 10 days of the date of invoice will be liable to a surcharge of 3% above bank base rate.
  8. The client is fully responsible for any costs incurred by the agency in the recovery of their outstanding account.
  9. All information provided to the client is confidential. Employers or prospective employers transferring information supplied by the agency to them and resulting in the engagement of staff by a third party will render the client liable to payment of the agency’s full fee for that employment.
  10. Should the client find any permanent employee, this does not include summer au pairs, unsuitable or the employer terminate the engagement before a period of 3 weeks, from the time of commencement of employment, the engagement will be deemed to be temporary. The fee will be refunded less an administration charge of £25, if a suitable replacement candidate cannot be found.
  11. The placement fee covers the client for the agreed employment only. If an au pair leaves before three months a pro-rata credit will be held by the agent against any further placement.
  12. Fees charged relate to one engagement only. If an au pair subsequently rejoins the client at any time in the future, the client will undertake to inform the agency and pay the full agency fee again.
  13. No travel arrangements can be made by the au pair without payment of the full fee.
  14. Cancellation in the event of cancellation by the client the following refunds apply.
    1. After the au pair has accepted but before she has bought her ticket to travel half the fee will be refunded.
    2. After the au pair has accepted and after she has bought her ticket to travel no refund can be made.
